Nicole and Jack are so excited to get married October 2013 and we cannot wait to share their planning process and their wedding day! Michael Sackett Photography captured these great moments during their engagement session and we are so looking forward to seeing their wedding photos!

This position is ideal for a trendy, fashion-forward self-starter who enjoys helping others feel confident and excited.  The bridesmaid stylist is responsible for styling ladies preparing for an upcoming wedding or special event.  Our boutique focuses on making dress shopping an easy, stress-free experience.

Ideal candidates will be self-starters who have experience working in a small-business atmosphere and understand that flexibility is essential for success. Candidate must be able to work with a smile on their face, display compassion, and enjoy celebrating life’s special events.

Responsibilities include:

Managing client workflow process

• Fielding inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, creating invoices, collecting and processing payments, following up after appointments, closing sales

Managing ordering process

• Preparing dress orders, submitting orders directly to designers, confirming delivery information, and processing received orders

Knowing the lines, colorations, and styles we carry, in addition to being confident offering recommendations

Visually merchandising the store based on trends, seasons and top-sellers

Creating and maintaining relationships with current and past clients, vendors and suppliers; attending local networking meetings

Managing and maintaining samples in store

Planning and executing in-store events (trunk shows, flash sales, etc.)

Overseeing all social media platforms:

• Creating inspiration boards on company Pinterest page
• Creating conversation, engaging new followers, actively updating photos and information about current events on Facebook page

Candidate must be available to work during the boutiques normal business hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-8pm, Wednesday and Friday from 12pm-6pm, and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.  Weekends and evenings are required.

Position is for 25-30 hours weekly.  Hourly + commission pay, based on experience.

Laura and Michael held their ceremony and  gorgeous wedding reception at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth. We were so happy to provide flowers and decor services for their event. Laura carried a lovely bouquet of white hydrangea, white garden roses and white ranunculus, while her bridesmaids carried bouquets of white hydrangea accented with green hypericum berries and seeded eucalyptus. The flower girl wore a delicate head wreath of baby’s breath and eucalyptus and the boutonniere’s consisted of white ranunculus accented with green hypericum berries.

Their tall centerpieces were simple and elegant with the arrangement of baby’s breath. Their second centerpieces were equally beautiful with the arrangement of white hydrangea with accents of seeded eucalyptus, green hypericum berries and greenery. Blaine Siesser is always a pleasure to work with and captured each detail perfectly – congratulations Laura and Michael!

Ashley and Doug were married on a beautiful August afternoon at the Iroqouis Club in Bloomfield Hills. Shannon from Clicking Through Life did a fabulous job capturing their day and we are happy to share their lovely flowers! The bridal bouquet was composed of varying sizes and shades of pink roses while the bridal party carried yellow roses – who doesn’t love roses?!

You may remember the GORGEOUS photos from Kelly and Anthony’s big day, and we are so excited to share their amazing trailer by Third Street Films! They did such a beautiful job capturing the important (and fun!) moments from the entire day – enjoy!

Molly and Jeff were married on a beautiful afternoon at Meadowbrook Hall. We were so happy to design their gorgeous flowers and thanks to Kristen Taylor Photography we are able to share their lovely day!

Jennifer and Kevin were not only a joy to work with, but to spend their wedding process with. The love between these two wonderful people is undeniable and Nicole Haley did a beautiful job of capturing each moment. We LOVED using the gorgeous oranges, greens and hints of red in their flowers – it truly made the day as bright and beautiful as it was outside. In addition to floral, we also designed their stationery and provided Event Day Coordination. Guests witnessed the ceremony at Holy Name Church in Birmingham, followed by a reception at The Reserve. The day was full of tears of joy, lots of laughter, and plenty of sunshine – congratulations Jennifer and Kevin!

Beyond confetti, you can also find these little hearts on a stick and flowers in a pot – which you can plant the hearts and petals. Some of the flowers that will bloom include (but are not limited to): white yarrow, purple coneflower, shirley poppy, foxglove, red prairie coneflower, maltese crosee, catchfly snapdragon, and sweet alyssum.
