Real Engagements: Jessica and Eric

I love it when brides use props for their engagement photos.  That balloon is super fun…  and those tights, those are even more fun!!  Jessica and Eric are getting married on May 11, 2012 at The Lafayette Grande in Pontiac.  We’re super pumped to be working with E’Lisa from E.C. Campbell Photography for the first time too!

Real Engagements: Megan and Paul

Megan and Paul’s wedding is in less than 2 months and we’re super excited to share their day with them.  They’ve planned their winter wedding at the historical Layfayette Grand in Pontiac for December 17th.  We can’t wait to see the wedding photos from Jess & Nate Studios!  (PS:  Paul is Kendall’s big brother… do you recognize Megan from her bridal party?)

Engagements: Joanna and Elias

Planning with Joanna and Elias has been such a pleasure…  I literally can not wait until their March 5th wedding!  It’s going to be an amazing night full of outstanding vendors, amazing food and family & friends from all over the world.  With Joanna originally from Brazil and Elias originally from Syria, many of their guests will be traveling internationally to attend their big day.  We’ve got tons of fun things planned for their wedding weekend!

Harold from Berkshire Studios spent an afternoon with these two to capture their engagement photos.  I absolutely love it when a photographer takes the time to plan a fun afternoon for the couple and really captures the essence of who they are.  Yeah!

Engagements: Kendall and John

As much as I love wedding photography, I think engagement sessions are slowly becoming my all time favorites!  Jessica Johnston did such an awesome job capturing Kendall and John just being themselves…  aren’t these images going to be so fun for them to look through in 20+ years?  All of my clients know that I always encourage engagement sessions; not only to get to know their photographer before their big day, but to capture what true love looks like.  You’re in a state of bliss during this time – why wouldn’t you want proof to show your future kids and grandkids!?!

Kendall and John are celebrating their special day on August 6, 2011 at The Colony Club downtown.  Be sure to check in next fall to see even more of Jessica and Nate’s beautiful imagery!

How cute are these two?  Alicia and Greg are tying the knot on August 13th, 2011 in East Lansing.  Although we’re just starting the planning process, I already know that this couple is going to be a blast to work with!

Engagements: Allison and Nick

Allison and Nick were our Wedding Day Giveaway winners from the contest we offered back in February.  Jason Aten, the photographer who graciously donated a full photography package, spent some time with the cute couple this past week for their engagement session.  You can see tons of photos on his blog, but I thought I’d share my favorites!  Jason always runs a contest on his blog for the couples that he works with – leave Allison and Nick a comment on his blog to help them win!

Engagements: Aimee and Chris

Okay, okay, it’s been awhile! I’ve been holding off on posting until I could share these super cool pics with everyone. Aimee and Chris are getting married in October (one of my favorite months for weddings!) and they are from Alaska (I’m so jealous) and they’ve picked a super sweet venue for their reception (wait until you see it!). In a nut shell, they are really cool people who live in a really cool location and are going to have an awesome Michigan fall wedding!

Engagements: Ashley and Kyle

Not only do I get to work with amazingly talented people, I get to work with some of the most beautiful I’ve ever met!

Ashley and Kyle are getting married this spring – stayed turned for pictures of their May wedding.  These engagement pics are from the very talented Kara Purtell, of Kara Purtell Photography. Ashley and Kyle both graduated from the University of Michigan and really wanted to share their love of Ann Arbor. These pictures were taken in the Arboretum at the university as well as downtown in the city.
