Eventology 2010

Continuing education is a huge component to my business model.  I think it’s of utmost importance that I’m continually educating myself on not only current trends and ideas, but also ways to improve my business (on both a service and profit level).  That being said, Eventology 2010 was naturally the next choice in conferences that I wanted to attend.  Scheduled for April 19 – April 21 in Indianapolis, this was again something I new would be easy to drive to (thus, road trip #2 with Aletha begins!)

In a nutshell, this conference was awesome!  The topics were outstanding and the speakers were even better.  We attended sessions with Harmony Walter of the Bridal Bar, sales pro Saundra Hadley, event designer Sasha Souza, Terrica Skaggs of ChicWeddingGeek, Lara Casey with Southern Weddings and NsShara Mitchell of LawGLOSS.

In addition to myself and Aletha, Alicia from A Day in May Events, Jen from Jen Lynne Photography, and Ryan and Eric from Epic Motion represented the great state of Michigan.
