Celebrating 2009!

This past November I hosted a small luncheon to celebrate the end of a fun and successful year.  I wouldn’t be able to inspire so many brides and create amazing events without the support and assistance of the fabulous team of vendors in my area.  From photographers providing me with gorgeous pictures to linen companies coming through in a pinch, the events that I coordinate and design would be nothing without each and every element beautifully coming together.

The Ritz Carlton in Dearborn was extremely gracious in offering to help me host the appreciation luncheon.  (If you’re looking for a venue for your wedding, you have to check our their facilities.  Not only is their staff always on top of their game, their ballrooms are beautiful and provide a stunning backdrop for any type of event).  Gala Linen custom made AMAZING place mats to accent the rich navy blue linen and Special Events Rental provided the glass beaded charger plates.  Combine all of those elements plus aubergine feathers, lots of candles, yummy food and a room full of great people and you get a super fun relaxed afternoon!

The goal of the event was simply to thank everyone whom I worked with throughout 2009.  Guests were greeted with a selection of seasonal beer and gourmet popcorn, a delicious lunch trio and a huge selection of homemade desserts.  Everyone left with a small thank you gift and hopefully a feeling of appreciation!
