Being unique is pretty cool…

Adding fun and unique elements into your wedding is a great way to personalize the event and leave guests with something to remember.  Not only did this couple make their reception entrance unique and memorable, they truly personalized it.  In lieu of the traditional (boring!) entrances into the ballroom, each couple in their bridal party was armed with sports gear and a special song.  One couple loved golfing – they were given funny golf hats and kiddy golf clubs.  Another was a dancer in college – she pranced in wearing a tutu over her gown.  I’m pretty sure we had a football player, a hockey player, a world champion ping pong pro, an ice skater, and of course, a Nascar driver complete with his own car!  To make it even more fun, we had the DJ read the announcements just like you’d hear them in a sports arena.  The guests were laughing for hours; the bridal party was laughing for even longer.  I’m still laughing thinking back on it.

It was a perfect way to lighten the evening and welcome guests to the party!
