Engage09!Encore: The Recap

Wow!  That is the best word to describe the last few days….  I’m just returning from Las Vegas and the Engage09!Encore luxury wedding business intensive.  I had a blast sharing a room with Aletha Vandermass, from Pearls Events, meeting lots of new friends, and connecting with people I’ve chatted with via email (but hadn’t had the opportunity to actually meet!).

The sessions were jammed packed with great speakers and a lot of great info.  I left with my head spinning – in a good way!  (I think I need a mini-vacation from my get-away to let everything sink in!)  I’m hoping to take some of the words of wisdom and apply them to my business model – everything from my actual business plan to the way I interact with clients and vendors to the way I position myself in the Detroit market….  this winter is going to be full of refining what I’m doing, where I’m going, and what my goals are.
